Porsche Hargrove, LPC
I am a graduate of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi where I received my Bachelor of Art in Psychology and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Additionally, I hold a license for chemical dependency counseling. During my internship and practicum periods, I acquired skills in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
My professional experience with individuals, families, and groups from varying backgrounds provided me the skill to be objective and competent when providing services, to meet the diverse needs of my clients.
While I practice from a rational emotive behavioral therapy standpoint, I believe the principles of treating each client as a whole person and not just a sum of their issues is vital. I include my faith in God and His word in my practice and give my clients the space to do the same.
